The Boston Consulting Group (BCG)<\/strong> reveals that more second-hand watches are now sold worldwide than new watches ! The second-hand market in luxury goods has been growing and exploding in recent years. A trend adopted in particular by the younger generations: “70% of female luxury buyers make their first luxury purchase via a vintage product.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n “The resale market in luxury is set to last and grow; it completely changes the notion of “consumption” into “investment”; and investments that, over time, often have a value greater than the initial purchase price”<\/em>, says Fabienne Lupo<\/strong>, who initiated the new event.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n RE-Luxury<\/strong> offers participants the opportunity to find and acquire pieces, all authenticated and certified by the Houses, platforms and retailers present at the event.
