{"id":88337,"date":"2022-07-28T09:58:39","date_gmt":"2022-07-28T07:58:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test2023.luxus-plus.com\/?p=88337"},"modified":"2022-07-28T09:58:39","modified_gmt":"2022-07-28T07:58:39","slug":"moncler-first-half-sales-exceed-expectations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/en\/moncler-first-half-sales-exceed-expectations\/","title":{"rendered":"Moncler: First half sales exceed expectations"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Despite the confinements and restrictions in China, Moncler reported very good results, which once again exceeded expectations.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sales at Italian luxury group <strong>Moncler<\/strong> rose 46 percent at constant exchange rates in the first half of the year, again beating analysts&#8217; estimates.\u00a0The brand, which acquired smaller rival <strong>Stone Island<\/strong> in 2020, said Wednesday it was confident about the second half of the year, its signature season with its famous winter down jackets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Total sales reached 918.4 million euros in the six months to June<\/strong>, compared with the analyst consensus provided by the company of 894 million euros.\u00a0The group reported a 26 percent increase in sales in the second quarter, driven by <strong>strong growth in Europe and the United States, South Korea and Japan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Operating profit for the first half of the year was 180.2 million euros, with a margin of 19.6% on sales,<\/strong> above expectations of 152 million euros.
