For the Loewe<\/a> Foundation Craft Prize 2022, the 15 finalists are exhibiting their work at SeMoCa, the Seoul Museum of Craft Art, until July 30.<\/h4>\n

Established in 2016 by the artistic director of the Spanish luxury ready-to-wear label Jonathan Anderson<\/strong>, the fifth edition of the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize<\/strong> pays tribute to traditional know-how<\/strong> from around the world, reinvented contemporarily.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year’s event differs from previous editions. Opening in late 2021, the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize has moved to the Museum of Craft Art in Seoul<\/strong>, the capital of South Korea<\/strong>; where the fifteen works of the finalists – and the winner – are on display. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI love the energy of this city, which is messier and much more fun than you might think. The region places a lot of importance on preserving and protecting its traditional skills, which is one of the reasons I wanted the award to be held here<\/em>,\u201d Anderson said five years ago about the capital of the Land of the Morning.<\/p>\n
