Accor<\/strong> is reorganizing to clarify its positions and segment its activities. The first division will be dedicated to the “Economy, Midscale & Premium<\/strong><\/em>” segments, and will include the ibis, Novotel, Mercure, Swiss\u00f4tel, M\u00f6venpick and Pullman<\/strong> brands, representing 4,816 hotels worldwide and 948 new establishments under development.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The second part, “Luxury & Lifestyle<\/strong><\/em>“, will include the Raffles & Orient Express, Fairmont, Sofitel & MGallery and Ennismore<\/strong> brands, representing 488 hotels worldwide and 266 new properties under development.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This new organization will take effect on October 1, 2022, says the group: “By evolving from a generalist to a multi-specialist model, our goal is to further strengthen Accor’s attractiveness to our talent, owners, partners and investors<\/em>,” explained Accor’s chairman and CEO, S\u00e9bastien Bazin<\/strong>, quoted in a statement.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In addition, he should remain at the head of the world’s sixth largest hotel group for several more years and complete its reorganization, as the board of directors has “unanimously decided to propose the renewal<\/em>” of his mandate.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At the next meeting, which will take place in May 2023, the agenda will include the renewal of Mr. Bazin’s mandate for a period of three years.<\/strong> At the head of the Accor group since late 2013, S\u00e9bastien Bazin will have to ensure the deployment of a new organization of the company. The Accor group announced Tuesday a reorganization of its activities around two major divisions, confirming that its CEO, Sebastien Bazin, would remain at the helm for several more years.<\/h4>\n
