The designer Jean Dinh Van passed away last Saturday night at the age of 94.<\/h4>\n

The jeweler Jean Dinh Van<\/strong>, founder of the jewelry brand Dinh Van<\/strong> died last weekend, following a stroke, his wife told AFP. She added that a ceremony would be organized in Boulogne-Billancourt, where he was born in 1927.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jean Dinh Van, Breton of Vietnamese origin by his father, had trained at the jeweler Cartier<\/strong> before opening his first store in Paris in 1965.<\/strong> The house was the first to introduce minimalism in jewelry. The founder has succeeded in infusing the brand with a desire to shake up the codes of “classic” jewelry by drawing inspiration from everyday details and objects.<\/strong><\/p>\n
