The French luxury house Louis Vuitton<\/a> has unveiled its new High-Jewelry collection: \u201cLouis Vuitton Spirit\u201d, inspired by mythological creatures.<\/h4>\n

The 125<\/strong> sumptuous pieces that make up this collection were all imagined by Francesca Amfitheatrof<\/strong>, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton<\/strong> Jewelry and Watches. She wanted to create a collection based on five concepts in which the Louis Vuitton woman can be found: freedom, strength, the notion of infinity, destiny, <\/strong>and the surpassing of oneself<\/strong>; all embodied by mythological creatures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike the phoenix that rises from its ashes to take flight, or the dragon animated by a protective fire, the Louis Vuitton woman exudes strength, energy and unprecedented optimism. It is this liberating femininity, emblematic of the House, that I wanted to embody in Spirit<\/em>,\u201d says Francesca Amfitheatrof.<\/p>\n

Requiring more than 40,000 hours of work<\/strong>, the brand said that Louis Vuitton Spirit is the most important High-Jewelry collection ever unveiled by Louis Vuitton.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Bearing the names Liberty, Grace, Fantasy, Radiance, <\/em><\/strong>and<\/u> Destiny<\/strong><\/em>, the five axes of the collection break free from the traditional codes of High-Jewelry. Sparkling thanks to the many diamonds present on the sumptuous jewels accompanied by highly colored stones, the necklaces, rings and earrings of this line stand out for their sublime allure.<\/p>\n

A tsavorite<\/strong> of more than 65 carats, sapphires<\/strong> from Sri Lanka, emeralds<\/strong> from Colombia as well as diamonds<\/strong> and rubies<\/strong> from Mozambique have been collected by Louis Vuitton to unveil a collection of the most sublime, precious and reflecting a unique know-how. Winks to the brand are also hidden on some of the pieces in the collection.<\/p>\n

\u201cI used this shape (the triangle, ed. note) in many pieces by playing on triangles of different sizes. We read the V of Vuitton which evokes an arrow, the first graphic symbol designed by man, a direction to follow, a perpetual movement<\/em>,\u201d continues the artistic director.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Radiance<\/em> necklace<\/strong> is a key piece in the collection, shining with the reflections of the diamonds on each scale of the necklace, all individually mounted. This sumptuous necklace evokes the mysterious and wild nature that lies dormant in every being, and the fire and ardor that emanates from it. A 10.99 carat mandarin<\/strong> garnet located in the center of the highly precious piece enhances the brilliance of this magnificent necklace.<\/p>\n
