For its second Parisian boutique, the Lemaire brand has chosen a prime location and a historical landmark in the capital : the Place des Vosges.<\/h4>\n

As was the case with its offices and its first boutique, opened in 2007<\/strong> at 28, rue de Poitou<\/strong>, this new space, located in the fourth arrondissement, is nestled in the Marais<\/strong> district, popular with chic fashionistas.<\/p>\n

The first Lemaire<\/strong> outlet presented its non-ostentatious luxury ready-to-wear with a pure and timeless style, inspired by the street and Asia. The second outlet featured accessories, and only accessories. Central elements in the House’s offer.<\/p>\n

Located in the continuity and spirit of its workshop-showroom, with its “luminous and crossing architecture”<\/em>, the new boutique also plays the chic minimalism card. In what used to be a doctor’s office, architect Francesca Torzo<\/strong> has imagined a “white, calm box with black-clad arches”, “a minimal and organic d\u00e9cor that stages the accessories as object-forms within a landscape”.<\/em><\/p>\n

Behind the lacquered facade, which duplicates that of the first Lemaire shop, the customer will discover “an abstraction in shades of white, smooth, grained, granulated, talcum powder”.<\/em> An ideal backdrop for discovering the brand’s world of accessories: its moulded leather bags (Camera and Carlos Bag<\/strong>), perched on different levels on cubes and podiums of simple geometry, made of terracotta, marmorino and lacquered elements… Or the shoes, belts and jewellery, such as those of the Seeds range, made of brass pips and handcrafted.<\/p>\n

Lemaire was founded in 1990<\/strong> by the discreet and talented Christophe Lemaire<\/strong>, who develops the style with his partner Sarah-Linh Tran<\/strong>. The House now employs seventy-five people in its workshop-showroom.<\/p>\n

Twice winner of the famous Andam Prize<\/strong>, Christophe Lemaire was artistic director of Lacoste<\/strong> and then of Herm\u00e8s<\/strong>. He has been the head of the Parisian research and development centre of the Japanese brand Uniqlo<\/strong> since 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
