One of the most famous works of contemporary art is to be auctioned by Christie’s in New York.<\/h4>\n

“Shot Sage Blue Marilyn<\/strong>” or one of Andy Warhol<\/strong>‘s most famous works in the world, will be auctioned at Christie’s<\/strong> in New York in May 2022. This iconic 1964 portrait of actress Marilyn Monroe<\/strong> is estimated to fetch $200 million<\/strong>, and could go much higher, making it the most expensive 10th century artwork ever sold at auction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
