{"id":79652,"date":"2022-03-02T11:44:18","date_gmt":"2022-03-02T10:44:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test2023.luxus-plus.com\/?p=79652"},"modified":"2022-03-02T16:04:49","modified_gmt":"2022-03-02T15:04:49","slug":"jaguar-and-aston-martin-suspend-deliveries-to-russia-until-further-notice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/en\/jaguar-and-aston-martin-suspend-deliveries-to-russia-until-further-notice\/","title":{"rendered":"Jaguar and Aston Martin suspend deliveries to Russia until further notice"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The two luxury car groups have stopped deliveries of vehicles to Russia since yesterday.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aston Martin<\/strong> and <strong>Jaguar<\/strong> halted vehicle deliveries to <strong>Russia<\/strong> on Tuesday night as sanctions related to the war in <strong>Ukraine<\/strong> have created increasing trade barriers for the automotive industry.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Some Russian banks have even been excluded from the <strong>Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication<\/strong> (SWIFT), a secure messaging system designed to ensure speedy cross-border payments, preventing trade relations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Shipping giants such as <strong>MSC<\/strong> and <strong>Maersk<\/strong> have suspended container shipping to and from Russia, further isolating the country. As a result, it is virtually impossible for Russian car dealers or customers to buy cars and for car manufacturers to ship them, which has halted new car sales in the country.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Aston Martin said <em>&#8220;As a global brand that exports products to both Ukraine and Russia, Aston Martin is closely monitoring the current situation in Ukraine.
