“In general, people tend to look for timeless styles and colours for both our rental platform Style Theory and our resale platform Second Edit. [They] also tend to look for classic or ‘safe’ colours such as black followed by light brown and beige. These options are easier to style and generally match more wardrobe pieces,<\/em>” said Style Theory COO and co-founder Raena Lim.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dior<\/strong> is close behind Chanel in second place. The luxury house is particularly popular in this country thanks to its bag made in honour of Lady Diana, the Lady Dior.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Commenting on the ranking, Raena Lim said that since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, small handbags have been in much greater demand than large ones, justifying the ranking of Singapore’s favourite bags.<\/p>\n

Louis Vuitton’s Empreinte<\/em> clutch<\/strong> is the third most popular bag in Singapore.<\/p>\n

It is followed by the Gucci GG Marmont Matelasse<\/em><\/strong> shoulder bags and finally the Kate<\/em> bag by Saint Laurent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In recent years, trends have focused on the revival of popular 90s styles<\/strong> such as half-moon shoulder bags and 70s<\/strong> shoulder bags with long straps, thus explaining this ranking of favourite luxury handbags in Singapore.<\/p>\n
