{"id":78142,"date":"2022-02-04T11:30:50","date_gmt":"2022-02-04T10:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test2023.luxus-plus.com\/?p=78142"},"modified":"2022-02-04T12:22:11","modified_gmt":"2022-02-04T11:22:11","slug":"ralph-lauren-benefits-from-high-end-apparel-sales-boom-in-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/en\/ralph-lauren-benefits-from-high-end-apparel-sales-boom-in-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Ralph Lauren benefits from high-end apparel sales boom in 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The American brand Ralph Lauren, which raised its forecasts for 2021 last November, confirms its good shape.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ralph Lauren Corp<\/strong> <strong>raised its annual revenue forecast Thursday and became the latest luxury retailer to beat market estimates.<\/strong> Shares of the New York-based designer, which also announced a new $1.5 billion share buyback program, rose 4 percent in morning trading.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ralph Lauren said it expects sales in the current quarter to rise about 17% to 18% in constant currency, thanks to higher prices, which the company said will offset higher transportation and raw material costs. <strong>In the third quarter, the luxury group reported net income of $217.7 million<\/strong>, or $2.93 per share, compared with $119.8 million, or $1.61 per share a year earlier.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Post int\u00e9gr\u00e9\" src=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/embed\/feed\/update\/urn:li:ugcPost:6895028876356251648\" width=\"504\" height=\"725\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Chairman and CEO <strong>Patrice Louvet<\/strong> said demand is strong and can support &#8220;<em>many more quarters<\/em>&#8221; of price increases. &#8220;<em>Our business is fundamentally healthier than it was two years ago.
