These results are driven by sales of the <strong>Model Y crossover<\/strong> with an estimated <strong>190,393 vehicles<\/strong> and the <strong>Model 3 sedan<\/strong> with <strong>121,877 sales<\/strong>, according to Cox.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By <strong>2021<\/strong>, battery electric vehicle sales were <strong>487,460 vehicles<\/strong>, up <strong>89%<\/strong> from <strong>2020<\/strong>, of which <strong>352,471<\/strong> were Tesla vehicles built at the Fremont, California, factory.
