In a whirlwind of skills and colors, a staging imagined by choreographer and dancer Dimitri Chamblas revealed on Tuesday the silhouettes of the CHANEL 2021\/22 M\u00e9tiers d’art collection<\/strong> created by Virginie Viard. In the heart of Chanel’s new 25,000 m2 Parisian building, Dimitri Chamblas highlighted the play of graphic textures and precious details as well as the movement that emerges. Dedicated to the M\u00e9tiers d’art and designed by architect Rudy Ricciotti, the 19M, located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, at the Porte d’Aubervilliers, houses eleven of the art houses acquired by the Chanel group in recent years.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The 19M, a name inspired by the letter M symbolizing the key words related to Chanel’s craftsmanship: Hands, Fashion, Crafts, Art Houses. The 19 that precedes the letter evokes one of Chanel’s emblematic numbers. After the number 5, 19 is Coco’s other fetish number, her second success in the world of perfumery and the last perfume worn by Gabrielle Chanel herself, the one that pays homage to her birth date, August 19, 1883. “To be irreplaceable, you have to be different”, we read on the label of the perfume N\u00b019, in reference to one of the many provocations of the legendary designer.
