On November 10, 2021 in New York, the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) recognized the most outstanding fashion personalities of the year 2021. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Christopher John Rogers<\/strong> studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design<\/strong>. He imagines audacious creations with sought-after volumes and surprising material effects.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In a few seasons, the designer seduces the jury of the CFDA<\/strong>\u00a0chaired by Tom Ford<\/strong>. In 2019, he was awarded the Vogue Fashion Fund<\/strong> prize and in 2020, the Emerging Designer Award<\/strong>. In April 2021, he joined the 9 finalists of the LVMH Prize<\/strong>, a consecration for him.<\/p>\n

Since launching his eponymous brand in 2016, Christopher John Rogers has become a celebrity darling. These include Beyonc\u00e9 <\/strong>and Tracee Ellis Ross<\/strong>. He also dressed Vice President Kamala Harris<\/strong> at President Joe Biden’s<\/strong> inauguration and designed the costumes for the performers at the New York City Ballet’s<\/strong> annual fall fashion gala. He also created an outfit for the\u00a0Albert Elbaz<\/strong> tribute show at Paris Fashion Week<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Last spring, he unveiled a Christopher John Rogers x Target<\/strong> <\/em>collection to make fashion accessible: it was a great success. He also participated in the reboot of the series Gossip Girl<\/strong>, staging a fashion show.<\/p>\n
