However, the group warns that supply costs will rise to meet this new demand.<\/h4>\n<h4><!--more--><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>increase<\/strong> in <strong>sales<\/strong> in <strong>North America<\/strong> has particularly helped <strong>Ralph Lauren<\/strong> to <strong>raise<\/strong> its revenue forecasts for 2021, in line with the <strong>rebound<\/strong> of the luxury industry after the <strong>losses<\/strong> due to the 2020 <strong>pandemic<\/strong>. Consumers are starting <strong>to go out and consume again<\/strong>. Many are splurging on their wardrobes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ralph Lauren<\/strong>&#8216;s European peers, including <strong>LVMH<\/strong> and <strong>Herm\u00e8s<\/strong>, also reported strong sales <strong>increases<\/strong>, despite concerns about a <strong>slowdown<\/strong> in <strong>China<\/strong> and a <strong>decline<\/strong> in tourist purchases, a key source of revenue for the sector.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ralph Lauren<\/strong> said it expects fiscal 2022 sales at constant currency to <strong>rise<\/strong> 34% to 36%, compared with an earlier forecast of a <strong>potential<\/strong> 25% to 30% <strong>increase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ralph Lauren<\/strong>&#8216;s net <strong>sales<\/strong> were $1.50 billion in the second quarter ended September 25, <strong>up<\/strong> from $1.19 billion a year earlier.
