Sericyne’s additive silk is suitable for the design and manufacture of a variety of products, allowing for innovative and sustainable uses.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This young French company, which is part of a model combining profitability and responsibility, is accelerating its development thanks to a capital increase carried out with its historical shareholders, including confirmed entrepreneurs: Juerg Witmer (ex-Givaudan), Xavier Niel<\/strong> (Kima), Didier Rousseau<\/strong> (FAMM), Isabelle Lescanne Sauguet<\/strong> (ex-Groupe Nutriset), Michel Duplessier<\/strong> (Ipanema) and Paolin Pascot<\/strong> (Agriconomie).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The \u20ac300,000 equity investment<\/strong> is intended to support the consolidation of the sericulture sector in the C\u00e9vennes region of France, in particular the planting of more than 45,000 mulberry trees over the next five years, for an equivalent of 4.5 million silkworms, as well as the reorganization of its production facilities, also based in the Occitanie region.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Clara Hardy<\/strong>, founder and president of Sericyne, comments: “I am very happy to be supported by our historical shareholders.
