Kering and Phaidon<\/strong> are once again partnering for women through this book on design by women in different fields such as furniture, textiles, products and lighting. Over 200 women will be featured<\/strong>, representing 50 countries.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The partnership will also provide free content and resources on the new online platform: www.thewomanmade.com<\/a> as well as a series of roundtables at academic design institutions in the United States. A $25,000 scholarship to support an undergraduate student for the upcoming academic year will also be awarded.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The platform will be enhanced with exclusive content from the book<\/strong>, including a full registry of the 200 designers, Q&As with designers Aljoud Lootah, Anna Karlin, Dina Nur Satti, Faye Toogood, Hella Jongerius, Lindsey Adelman, and Kim Colin, and three filmed studio visits from designers Mette Hay, Rosie Li, and Mimi Shodeinde. In an effort to connect with and inspire young design students, Tennessee State University, Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) will host design talks led by designers Lani Adeoye, Patricia Urquiola and Nada Debs.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “We are thrilled to partner again with Phaidon on a platform that celebrates women in the arts.
