{"id":69591,"date":"2021-10-01T14:56:01","date_gmt":"2021-10-01T12:56:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test2023.luxus-plus.com\/?p=69591"},"modified":"2021-10-01T15:13:31","modified_gmt":"2021-10-01T13:13:31","slug":"thierry-marty-has-been-appointed-president-of-kering-north-and-south-east-asia-pacific","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/en\/thierry-marty-has-been-appointed-president-of-kering-north-and-south-east-asia-pacific\/","title":{"rendered":"Thierry Marty has been appointed President of Kering North and South-East Asia Pacific"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Luxury goods group Kering announced this Friday the appointment of Thierry Marty to the newly created position of president of Kering North Asia and South East Pacific, effective October 1.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This position, whose geographical coverage includes <strong>Japan<\/strong>, <strong>Korea<\/strong>, <strong>South East Asia<\/strong>, <strong>Australia<\/strong> and <strong>New Zealand<\/strong>, &#8220;<em>will strengthen <strong>Kering<\/strong>&#8216;s corporate team in Asia-Pacific, in order to support the long-term development of the group&#8217;s Houses in the region<\/em>,&#8221; <strong>Kering<\/strong> said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thierry Marty<\/strong> already has experience in the field of large luxury companies. He began his career at <strong>Deloitte<\/strong> before joining the luxury group <strong>LVMH<\/strong> in 1995, <strong>Kering<\/strong> noted. He has held management positions at <strong>Fendi<\/strong>, <strong>Celine<\/strong>, <strong>Bulgari<\/strong> and <strong>Louis Vuitton<\/strong>. He will be based in Seoul and will report to <strong>Kering<\/strong>&#8216;s deputy CEO Jean-Francois Palus. However, Kering said the organization of the Greater China brand would remain unchanged, with <strong>Jinquig Cai<\/strong>, president of Kering Greater China, continuing to lead the local teams.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Having lived in Asia for more than 20 years, <strong>Thierry Marty<\/strong> brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the luxury industry in these markets.
