While some have experienced difficulties and had to close their doors, others have thrived and new resorts are planned in the future.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Such is the case with <strong>Disney World<\/strong>, which plans to develop a new luxury resort near its park in central <strong>Florida<\/strong> to provide guests with more lodging options during their vacation. According to a report from the <strong>Orlando Business Journal,<\/strong> this brand new hotel will be built right across the street from the <strong>Bonnet Creek Resort<\/strong> area, and will have as many as 526 rooms, seven floors, a conference center, parking, and a dozen villas. Plans for the project have already been filed by <strong>Darton US Holdings<\/strong> Inc with the relevant authorities. The complex will also have restaurants and swimming pools.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The construction of this resort comes in the context of the post-Covid recovery. With vacationers returning and <strong>Florida<\/strong>&#8216;s tourism industry on the upswing, it is not surprising that more hotels are indeed on the agenda.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition, despite the impact of the pandemic on travel and tourism, hotel rooms at <strong>Walt Disney World<\/strong> have often been fully occupied.
