All of the group&#8217;s brands will no longer use fur.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In this gradual process of abandoning fur, <strong>Gucci<\/strong> of the <strong>Kering<\/strong> group had opened the ball in October 2017, followed by <strong>Balenciaga<\/strong>, <strong>Bottega Veneta<\/strong> and <strong>Alexander McQueen<\/strong>. Now it&#8217;s the turn of the group&#8217;s latest houses like <strong>Brioni<\/strong> and <strong>Yves Saint Laurent<\/strong> to phase out its use.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Since 2019<\/strong>, Kering has made animal welfare and the cause a priority. Standards related to animal welfare will continue to be rigorously applied regarding animal fibers and materials.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>For many years, Kering has strived to lead the way in sustainable development, guided by a vision of luxury that is inseparable from the highest environmental and social values and standards. In the area of animal welfare in particular, our Group has always demonstrated its willingness to change practices within its supply chain and the industry as a whole. The time has come to take a further step by ending the use of fur in all our collections.
