At the Met Gala, US Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez caused a stir by appearing in a dress urging a “tax on the rich”.<\/em><\/h4>\n

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala<\/strong> took place on Monday 13 September, back this year after a two-year absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This great charity event is still hosted by the famous and inescapable editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour<\/strong>, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York<\/strong>. The theme of this year’s event was “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This was the first time that US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez<\/strong> walked the red carpet of the ultra-modern US event. She appeared in a long white dress with the message “tax the rich”<\/strong><\/em> by designer Aurora James<\/strong>, founder of the brand Brother Vellies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
