Despite a return to slight organic growth and a marked rebound in the fourth quarter, R\u00e9my Cointreau continued to feel the effects of the slowdown in the cognac market and reported a decline in revenue for its 2025\u20132026 fiscal year.<\/h4>\n

R\u00e9my Cointreau posted revenue of \u20ac935.3 million<\/strong> for its fiscal year ending in March 2026, compared to \u20ac984.6 million a year earlier, representing a reported decline of 5%.<\/strong> The group notes, however, that its sales grew by 0.2% on an organic basis<\/strong>, marking a return to growth after several difficult fiscal years.<\/p>\n

The fourth quarter was the main driver of this improvement. Sales grew by 8.9% on an organic basis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cognac is regaining momentum but remains under pressure<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

In fact, it was the cognac division, the group\u2019s primary business, that enabled the slight late-year recovery in revenue. Sales in this division rose by 15.5% on an organic basis in the final quarter of the fiscal year<\/strong>, benefiting in particular from a strong recovery in China.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, for the year, cognac generated \u20ac573.6 million in revenue<\/strong>, compared to \u20ac611.8 million the previous year, representing a decline of 6.2%.<\/strong> On a like-for-like basis, the decline was limited to 0.5%,<\/strong> marking a gradual stabilization after several quarters of sharp contraction.<\/p>\n
