A new chapter in the company\u2019s development is beginning :\u00a0the Lanvin Group announced the appointment of Barbara Werschine as CEO<\/b> of the Lanvin fashion house.<\/p>\n

\u201cMs. Werschine is a seasoned executive in the international luxury sector, with over twenty years of experience in brand positioning, product strategy, and retail transformation<\/b>,<\/em>\u201d the company wrote in its announcement.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Before joining France\u2019s oldest fashion house, Barbara Werschine led the leading cashmere brand, Eric Bompard<\/b>, where she served a four-year term. A brand \u201cwhich she successfully modernized and whose financial performance she optimized,\u201d according to Lanvin. In 2022, for example, Eric Bompard\u2019s revenue reached 95 million euros.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Prior to that, the businesswoman served as director of leather goods collections at Herm\u00e8s<\/b> as well as vice president for Europe at Zadig & Voltaire. Barbara Werschine has also worked for other major luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton<\/strong> (in retail and marketing) and C\u00e9line<\/strong>, where she was responsible for the UK market. Barbara Werschine also has experience as a consultant, having worked for McKinsey<\/strong>, a renowned consulting firm.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Her arrival at Lanvin comes as the company aims to expand its business, primarily on an international scale<\/b>. In its press release, the group outlined the responsibilities of its new leader : Barbara Werschine will be responsible for steering the brand\u2019s global strategy, accelerating its growth, and strengthening Lanvin\u2019s positioning on the international stage.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Succeeding Andy Lew<\/strong>, who has been in the role since July 2025 and also serves as executive chairman of the Lanvin Group, Barbara Werschine will be tasked with expanding the men\u2019s clothing line<\/b> and developing \u201ccoherent brands\u201d in the home and lifestyle categories, according to the industry publication WWD.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to the financial report published by the group on March 17 regarding preliminary revenue for the 2025 fiscal year, Lanvin\u2019s revenue fell by 30% to just under 58 million euros for the full year.
