To give a new masculine image to its House and its iconic fragrance Bleu de Chanel,<\/i> in the wake of \u201cChalamet Gate,\u201d the House on Rue Cambon has chosen two Hollywood actors.<\/p>\n

Chosen by Chanel to take on the role of \u201cHouse Ambassador,\u201d<\/b> Pedro Pascal, the 51-year-old Chilean-American actor, is known for his roles in series such as The Mandalorian, The Last of Us, and \u201cGame of Thrones,\u201d as well as in films like The Materialists. Also recognized for his non-conformist style and his activism, he has numerous collaborations with luxury brands to his credit, notably with Bottega Veneta, Celine, Loewe, Valentino, and Saint Laurent.<\/b><\/p>\n

Made official on April 13 via a Chanel press release, the news was shared on social media by the brand and its creative director, Matthieu Blazy<\/b>. The announcement was accompanied by a short video in which the actor, wearing a casual yet elegant burgundy Chanel sweater embroidered with the brand\u2019s logo on the shoulder, strikes various poses\u2014sometimes serious, sometimes flashing a dazzling \u201cLatin lover\u201d smile, or bursting into laughter\u2014in a vintage photo booth.<\/b><\/p>\n

For his part, Jacob Elordi<\/b>, a 28-year-old Australian actor who rose to fame in the 2018 Netflix series The Kissing Booth and has since appeared in several major Hollywood productions (Frankenstein, Wuthering Heights…), has the daunting task of stepping in at the last minute to replace Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet as the new<\/b> face of the Bleu de Chanel fragrance<\/b>.<\/p>\n
