Rolex<\/strong> is an absolute exception in the landscape of global capitalism. Since 1945, all shares of the Geneva-based company have been owned by a single shareholder : the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation<\/strong>, named after the brand\u2019s founder. Upon his death in 1960, the German entrepreneur bequeathed all his shares to this philanthropic foundation, which he had established fifteen years earlier.<\/p>\n
