Amid the surge in agent-based AI, new titles are emerging in the luxury sector, including that of Chief AI and Technology Officer, a position created in late March at Kering that has received significant media attention. This trend is far from isolated, as other major fashion houses have also chosen to appoint a leader dedicated entirely to this cutting-edge technology.<\/h4>\n

Chief AI Officer<\/b>, Head of AI Strategy<\/b>, VP of Generative Intelligence<\/b>…<\/p>\n

While job titles may vary, the trend is undeniable: artificial intelligence is giving rise to the first executive-level positions dedicated to this technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The timing coincides with the momentum of a fashion AI market<\/b> that is projected to generate an operating profit of $150 to $275 billion by 2030<\/b>, according to consulting firm McKinsey.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thisinnovation<\/b> in the fashion and luxury sector, initiated and publicized last March by the world\u2019s second-largest luxury group, Kering<\/b>, is now spreading.<\/b><\/p>\n

This emerging strategic role requires much more than just an engineer\u2019s technical expertise<\/b> and sits at the intersection of creativity, the supply chain, and the customer experience.<\/p>\n

While groups like LVMH<\/b> have been among the pioneers to integrate AI into their roadmaps and processes for over five years<\/b>\u2014with its proprietary AI, MaIA, for the world\u2019s leading luxury group\u2014it is its rival Kering<\/b> that has received significant media attention with the creation of a dedicated executive position.<\/b><\/p>\n
