Following Alexandre Arnault<\/b>, CEO of Rimowa<\/b> from 2017 to 2021, his successor Hugues Bonnet-Masimbert<\/b>, who was appointed commercial director at Louis Vuitton<\/b> last March, is also packing his bags.<\/p>\n

On June 1, Beatrice Monguidi<\/b> will take the reins of the German premium luggage specialist, founded in 1898 by Paul Morszeck in Cologne and acquired in 2016, with 80% owned by LVMH<\/b> and the remaining 20% held by the founder\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

A 1996 graduate of the Universit\u00e0 Cattolica del Sacro Cuore<\/b> in Italy, she has since spent much of her career with the luxury industry leader.<\/p>\n

After starting her career at Max Mara<\/b> from 1998 to 2002 and then at Dolce & Gabbana<\/b> for a year, Beatrice Monguidi joined Valentino<\/b> from 2005 to 2007 before moving to Fendi<\/b> and, thus, the LVMH<\/b> group. She remained there for over twelve years, notably as Retail Director for France and Switzerland and later as President of Fendi Japan<\/b>.<\/p>\n

After a return to Valentino from 2019 to 2022, serving as Director of Distribution for Europe and Director of Commercial Excellence, she returned to the LVMH fold. She joined, this time for two years, its flagship house Christian Dior Couture,<\/b> as Director of the Men\u2019s Division, with a focus on innovation and the consumer.<\/p>\n
