On March 16, Christian Dior Couture renewed its partnership with UNESCO. This long-term commitment aims to train future female leaders by focusing on the transmission of expertise.<\/h4>\n

Committed to promoting peace through key areas such as education, science, culture, and communication,<\/b> UNESCO<\/b> is a long-standing partner of the House of Dior.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The renewed partnership with this United Nations agency was signed by Delphine Arnault, Chairwoman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture and member of the LVMH Board of Directors and Executive Committee<\/b>, as well as Khaled El-Enany, Director-General of UNESCO.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Participants in the Women@Dior & UNESCO program<\/b> were also in attendance. They were invited to share their experiences and speak on topics as diverse as the skills of tomorrow, creative leadership, social sustainability, and\u2014of course\u2014mentorship, a central focus of the program through connections with numerous professionals.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Titled \u201cImpactful Leadership & Creative Futures,\u201d this partnership is built on two pillars: education and the empowerment of women<\/b> on the one hand, and the culture of passing on expertise<\/b> on the other.<\/p>\n

A sustainable program promoting women\u2019s empowerment<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Highly symbolic: the agreement was signed one week before the annual meeting of UNESCO\u2019s Global Education Coalition<\/b>. Dior joined the Coalition in 2020. <\/b>The fashion house was, in fact, a pioneer in joining the program.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cThe renewed partnership between Dior and UNESCO embodies our shared values,\u201d stated Delphine Arnault. She continued: \u201cThese values will translate into concrete actions in support of education and the transmission of craftsmanship to foster the training of women aiming for leadership positions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Women@Dior & UNESCO<\/b> is a unique international mentoring and education program for young women.<\/strong> Its implementation draws equally on the House of Dior\u2019s expertise in creativity and the transmission of craftsmanship, as well as UNESCO\u2019s long-standing commitment to promoting gender equality through education.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Since its inception, the program\u2014in partnership with 75 educational institutions\u2014has supported more than 2,800 participants from over 60 countries and a wide range of fields.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In October, Dior\u2019s parent company, the LVMH Group, also signed a partnership with UNESCO, this time focused on ocean conservation with the participation of jeweler Tiffany & Co.<\/p>\n
