After having changed leaders five times in a decade, the LVMH Group\u2019s watchmaker has appointed this luxury expert and TAG Heuer insider to lead the company. She will be tasked with pursuing TAG Heuer\u2019s ambition to eventually join the club of billion-euro brands, despite a more challenging environment\u2026<\/h4>\n

TAG Heuer<\/b> sets the record straight\u2026<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

St\u00e9phane Bianchi, Deputy CEO of the LVMH Group and CEO of LVMH Watches & Jewelry<\/b>, has just announced the appointment<\/b>, effective May 1, of B\u00e9atrice Goasglas as CEO of the watchmaker<\/b>, the first woman to take the helm of the company following a succession of five men (including Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Arnault) at its helm since 2013.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn her new role, she will continue the House\u2019s strategy of elevation and innovation<\/b> initiated several years ago,\u201d LVMH announced. \u201cDrawing on her deep knowledge of the House, its history, and its talent pool, she will also be able to leverage the brand\u2019s iconic collections, as well as its strategic partnership with Formula 1.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allegations of psychological and sexual harassment<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

She will be tasked with both steering the company through a challenging climate for the sector and turning the page at TAG Heuer, which was shaken by the departure in mid-January of its previous CEO, Antoine Pin, just 18 months after his appointment<\/b>. While Pin told BFM Business that his resignation was the result of \u201cstrategic differences<\/b>,\u201d the media outlet reported, citing internal sources, allegations of psychological and sexual harassment<\/b> by at least two employees. Reports submitted via the group\u2019s internal whistleblowing system reportedly led to the opening of an investigation entrusted to an independent external firm.<\/p>\n
