After the wave of the YK2 movement<\/strong> (the style of the 2000s), a phrase has been flooding TikTok and Instagram in recent days: \u201c2026 is the new 2016\u201d<\/strong>. Unlike the YK2, which focuses more on pure aesthetics, 2016 evokes a social and digital atmosphere in its own right. A pre-smartphone, pre-AI, pre-#MeToo and pre-COVID era<\/strong>, but where networks were exploding and reinventing social interactions.<\/p>\n
