The R\u00e9tromobile Show will open its doors from January 28 to February 1 at the Porte de Versailles to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Over the course of half a century, the event has established itself as the must-attend event for classic car enthusiasts.<\/h4>\n

More than just a show, over the decades Retromobile has become an institution where a passion for mechanics is combined with history and excellence…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Launched in 1976<\/strong>, the R\u00e9tromobile show<\/strong> was originally just a gathering of vintage vehicles<\/strong>. But it quickly became the must-attend event for collectors and knowledgeable enthusiasts<\/strong>, attracting prestigious exhibitors, exceptional clubs, and major auction houses.<\/p>\n

Fifty years of memorable editions<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

At the dawn of the 2000s, the show was already echoing with major celebrations : in 2007, it honored the Fiat 500<\/strong> on its 50th anniversary as well as the Mercedes 300 SL Roadster<\/strong>, while Christie’s organized a sale of automotive treasures, which has become a regular feature of the show over time.<\/p>\n

The following year, in 2008, the event celebrated the 60th anniversary of the legendary Citro\u00ebn 2CV<\/strong> with a grand tribute to \u201cwomen and cars,\u201d exhibiting exceptional pieces such as Jean Bertin<\/strong>‘s A\u00e9rotrain in the aisles of the show.<\/p>\n
