After being elevated to the rank of Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor last March<\/strong>, Bernard Arnault<\/strong> can now boast of being the first French industrialist to join the highly esteemed Academy of Moral and Political Sciences.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Elected in December 2024 to the number one seat in the \u201cPolitical Economy, Statistics, and Finance\u201d section<\/b>, the CEO of LVMH<\/strong> made his entrance to the Quai de Conti during an official ceremony on January 12<\/b>. He is now part of this elite circle, whose 50 members are elected for life by absolute majority vote by their peers<\/strong> following the death, prolonged absence, or resignation of their predecessor. Academicians of moral and political sciences are distinguished by their extraordinary experience or intellectual influence.<\/strong><\/p>\n
