This is the successful venture launched in 2015 by Florence Daveau and Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Belhomme from Lyon, originally organizers of gastronomic events, who came up with the concept of an eco-friendly charity sale, \u201cLa Vaisselle des Chefs\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cBorn out of a desire to combine social commitment, responsible consumption, and a celebration of French craftsmanship,\u201d the idea is virtuous in more ways than one. It allows prestigious establishments to \u201clighten\u201d their stocks of unused tableware and decorative items<\/b>; it gives the general public access to these items, which have interesting stories behind them, at affordable prices (starting at \u20ac10, but much more for exceptional pieces); and finally, it provides partner associations with a small windfall.<\/p>\n

After several editions in the capital of Gaul, the mecca of French gastronomy, in Bordeaux, Strasbourg, and a grand premiere in February 2025 in Paris, this unique sale returns to the capital for the second time on February 7 and 8, 2026.<\/b><\/p>\n

Once again in association with the Apprentis d’Auteuil Foundation,<\/b> and with the support of numerous volunteers, it will be held once again at C\u00e9sure,<\/b> a third place dedicated to transmission, located at 13 rue de Santeuil, in the 5th arrondissement (Censier-Daubenton or Campo-Formio metro stations).<\/p>\n

This new Parisian sale will be even bigger, with 20,000 items, twice as many as in 2025<\/b>, including tableware, glassware, cutlery, silverware, accessories, and even furniture.<\/b><\/p>\n

All of the items have been provided by an even larger number of major brands, prestigious brasseries, and other renowned chefs’ kitchens.<\/p>\n

The Intercontinental Paris Le Grand, Le Caf\u00e9 de la Paix, Le Mandarin Oriental Paris, Le Scribe Paris Op\u00e9ra, ARMANI CAF\u00c9, and MORI VENICE CAF\u00c9<\/b> are joining the 2026 edition. Meanwhile, the restaurants Les Deux Magots, Le Plaza Ath\u00e9n\u00e9e, Le Meurice, Lucas Carton<\/strong>, and the historic brasseries La Brasserie Bofinger and Bert’s from the Bertrand Hospitality<\/b> group are back for more!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The only slight departure from the \u201csecond-hand\u201d concept is the return of Jars C\u00e9ramistes<\/b>, with \u201csuperb exclusive tableware created in collaboration with leading chefs.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The fact that part of the proceeds will go to the Fondation Apprentis d’Auteuil<\/b> also makes perfect sense in the world of gastronomy: these funds will be used to finance training in the restaurant trade for young people in difficulty.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Be warned, there are likely to be even more enthusiasts attending this new Paris sale.
