The \u201cMaison &amp; Objet In The City\u201d tour also provides them with around a hundred addresses of partner decorators, workshops, galleries, exceptional homes, and artisans in Paris.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is the first event marked in the 2026 calendars of <b>professionals in the fields of decoration, design, and lifestyle (hotels, restaurants<\/b>, etc.) and the <b>most popular<\/b> edition of the year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A <strong>major new feature of this year&#8217;s edition<\/strong> is the <strong>\u201cSignature &amp; Projects\u201d section<\/strong>, which will include<strong> \u201cManufactures of Excellence\u201d<\/strong> for the first time. Aimed primarily at the 25,000 interior designers and decorators expected to attend the trade show, this village will bring together <strong>a unique collective of \u201cEntreprises du Patrimoine Vivant\u201d<\/strong> (Living Heritage Companies), i.e., a French governmental label recognizing artisans for their<strong> rarity and exceptional expertise<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>first annual edition of Maison&amp;Objet<\/strong> will take place <strong>from January 15 to 19<\/strong> (Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday to Sunday until 7 p.m.) at the <strong>Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>A special moment<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A special moment to spot desirable brands, future best sellers, and new trends, enrich your network, and better understand the dynamics of your market.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>theme of this new session<\/strong>\u2014\u201c<strong>Past Reveals Future<\/strong>\u201d (editor&#8217;s note)\u2014reaffirms \u201cits ambition to <strong>reconnect contemporary design with its roots<\/strong> <strong>in order to better shape its future<\/strong>,\u201d explains the show in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Based on<strong> a forward-looking analysis by the style consulting firm Goodmoods<\/strong>, it focuses on <strong>four major trends<\/strong>, expressed in different spaces in the form of installations, curatorial selections, and other scenographic settings: <strong>metamorphosis, mutation, baroque, and neo-folklore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>2,300 brands, six sectors in seven halls<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This brings together<strong> an offering that is always particularly rich<\/strong> at the beginning of the year, with around <strong>2,300 brands<\/strong> (compared to 2,100 brands at the last edition in September), <strong>including 500 new ones<\/strong>, <strong>spread across six key sectors and seven exhibition halls.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Signature and Projects<\/i> (Halls 1 and 2)<\/b> will bring together <b>high-end design<\/b> and <b>bespoke projects for hospitality<\/b> (hotels, restaurants, architectural projects) <b>and residential<\/b>. <b>In Hall 6<\/b>, visitors will find the <b><i>Decor and Design<\/i><\/b> areas, dedicated to decoration, furniture, lighting, textiles, and tableware, and <b><i>Fashion and Accessories<\/i><\/b>, focusing on fashion, jewelry, and accessories.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <b><i>Perfumes and Wellness<\/i> area,<\/b> dedicated to the world of wellness and scents, will be located in <b>Hall 7<\/b>, and <b>Gift and Play (<\/b>gifts, toys, and lifestyle concepts) in <b>Hall 5<\/b>. The <b><i>Outdoor Living<\/i> area (Hall 3)<\/b> will offer an international curation of <b>furniture, pergolas, lighting, and technical solutions<\/b> to embellish <b>outdoor spaces<\/b>. <b><i>Craft<\/i> (Hall 5A<\/b>) will be dedicated to <b>exceptional craftsmanship and expertise<\/b> (cabinetmaking, glassmaking, sculpture, etc.), both traditional and contemporary.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What&#8217;s New?<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Three immersive \u201cWhat&#8217;s New?\u201d<\/b> experiences (What&#8217;s New in Decor, What&#8217;s New in Hospitality, and What&#8217;s New in Retail), curated by <b>Elizabeth Leriche, Rudy Gu\u00e9naire, and Fran\u00e7ois Delclaux<\/b> in different halls, will highlight <b>emerging trends in decoration, hospitality, and retail.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <b>\u201cCURATIO\u201d experiential village<\/b> (with international curation by Thomas Haarmann) will be dedicated to <b>design and collectible art objects<\/b>, while <b>the \u201cManufactures d&#8217;Excellence\u201d Village<\/b> will also be integrated as special areas in and between different halls. The latter will showcase, through demonstrations, <b>the expertise of some twenty French artisans<\/b> (master glassmakers, cabinetmakers, weavers, upholsterers, plasterers, ironworkers, marble workers, furniture and lighting designers) <b>certified as Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Companies)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>MOM Village<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It will also be possible to visit the <b>MOM Village<\/b> in Hall 5, with a selection of the most viewed or highlighted products online by the MOM community and a lounge area to chat with experts from the <b>MOM<\/b> digital platform. This <b>online tool, reserved for professionals<\/b>, allows you to extend the trade show experience throughout the year. Between Maison&amp;Objet sessions, you can discover thousands of products and new items, contact brands and suppliers directly, and source products throughout the year, while continuing to monitor trends, without any time or location constraints.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>25 conferences and workshops<\/b>, led by top professionals, are also scheduled, with topics such as \u201c<strong>Past Reveals Future: 3 visions for reinventing tomorrow,\u201d \u201cExceptional homes: the new era of French haute d\u00e9coration,\u201d \u201cReissues: a heritage, cultural, and creative gesture,\u201d &#8220;1925-2025: A Century of Art Deco,\u201c \u201dConquering New York: The Influence of French Design,&#8221;<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Harry Nuriev, Designer of the Year 2026<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Hall 3<\/strong>, visitors can admire the <strong>immersive thematic installation designed by Harry Nuriev<\/strong>, named Maison&amp;Objet <strong>Designer of the Year 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This will allow him to share his very particular vision, described by the <strong>concept of \u201ctransformism,\u201d or the ability of design to transform our daily lives<\/strong>.
