This year, Dior has chosen to revive childhood memories with a sumptuous gift box for its L’Or de J’Adore fragrance. In keeping with its circus-themed campaign, the gift box takes the form of a fully functional music box resembling a carousel, where traditional wooden horses are replaced by acrobats and mechanical elephants.<\/h4>\n

For the holiday season<\/b>, Christian Dior Parfums<\/b> invites you to an enchanting show in the colors of its new campaign, Circus of Dreams<\/b>. A festive world, rich in emotion and color, which follows on from last year’s campaign, The Ball of Dreams<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Wrapped in starry ribbons and personalized with exclusive gold charms, each gift was designed by artist Pietro Ruffo<\/b>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In addition to its traditional Advent calendar, the perfume division of the LVMH group has chosen to offer products with packaging as unusual as it is magical<\/b>, such as its box of perfume ornaments and, above all, its music box.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The latter features L’Or de J’adore<\/b>, a fragrance with floral, sunny, and intense notes<\/b>. These characteristics are reflected in the golden tones of the box<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Under a starry canopy<\/h2>\n

In recent days, Christian Dior Parfums unveiled its holiday campaign<\/b>, featuring actress and ambassador Anya Taylor Joy<\/b>, 29, as the ringmaster of a circus parade that is as joyful as it is intoxicating. The star of the 2020 Netflix series The Queen’s Gambit<\/b> has also appeared in the series Peaky Blinders and the films Last Night in Soho (2021) and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024).<\/p>\n

Fire-eaters, fortune tellers, jugglers, magicians, knife throwers, and above all acrobats perform to a cover of the classic Lonely People by the band America (1974). In this video with its gold lam\u00e9 look and atmosphere reminiscent of the musical The Greatest Showman<\/i> (2017), everything comes together to transport the viewer into the colorful, playful, and nostalgic world of the circus<\/b>. The House even considers those with \u201cclown phobia\u201d by deliberately omitting the presence of any clowns. The founder’s superstitious nature is evident in the presence of star motifs and divination cards.<\/p>\n

Beyond the campaign<\/b> taking shape within the Cirque d’Hiver in Paris<\/b>, the birthplace of the House founded by Christian Dior in 1947, the couture house’s fragrance division has unveiled a series of gifts entrusted to the care of artist Pietro Ruffo, including the famous Dior Circus of Dreams music box.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThrough my drawings, I sought to reproduce this idea of metamorphosis and dreams<\/b>. I really entered into the three-dimensional space of the circus and one moment in particular: before the acrobat jumps<\/b>,\u201d he says. He adds, \u201cthis suspended moment creates a feeling of eternal anticipation<\/b>.\u201d This is a characteristic that lends itself perfectly to the festive season and the Advent calendar.<\/p>\n

Through its storytelling, the House also invites us to an immersive<\/b> experience: \u201cWhen the doors of the big top open, elegant acrobats and majestic animals come to life, creating a miniature universe under Monsieur Dior’s lucky star<\/b>,\u201d the press release explains.<\/p>\n

The music box is not only aesthetically pleasing, it is also perfectly functional. At the base of this immaculate white box shaped like a gate<\/b>, embellished with a gold clasp stamped with the founder’s initials<\/b> (CD), there is a slot with a star-shaped key that winds up the mechanism.<\/b><\/p>\n

The press release describes an enchanting spectacle that comes to life \u201cto the rhythm of a joyful and catchy melody inspired by the circus world so dear to Christian Dior.\u201d The result is \u201can invitation to wonder, where perfumery and music come together for a moment of pure magic.\u201d<\/p>\n

And to complete this sensory experience at home, the L’Or de J’adore fragrance also promises exceptional moments. “Ample and voluptuous<\/b>, the L’Or de J’adore fragrance essence delivers a trail of notes of orange blossom, jasmine grandiflorum, and centifolia rose<\/b>. Finally, in line with the sustainability requirements promoted by its parent company through the LIFE360 plan, the 50 ml J’adore L’Or bottle<\/b> is refillable<\/b>.<\/p>\n
