Her annual \u201cIt’s Time\u201d announcement on social media<\/strong> was sponsored for the first time this year by Sephora<\/strong>. The selective distribution brand owned by luxury giant LVMH was able to see the artist’s unwavering popularity, with 3.3 million likes and 1.3 million shares in less than 48 hours<\/strong>, as luxury expert Benjamin Legourd pointed out. And even 3.9 million views three days after its release on YouTube!<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n That’s how long it took to write the song \u201cAll I Want For Christmas Is You\u201d in the summer of 1994<\/b>. The song, co-written by Walter Afanasieff<\/b> (producer, author, and composer) and Mariah Carey<\/b>, was born after the creation of the songs \u201cMiss You Most (At Christmas Time)\u201d and \u201cJesus Born on This Day.\u201d It took the duo only fifteen minutes to come up with the chords, structure, melody, and lyrics<\/b>. The result was a catchy song with a lively rhythm and simple melody. It channels the energy of 1960s singers such as Brenda Lee and Darlene Love.
