From October 24 to 26, discover no fewer than 206 galleries, including 63 based in France. Among them, Japanese pop artist Takashi Murakami presents a sprawling installation at the Louis Vuitton stand.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Takashi Murakami<\/b> (Louis Vuitton), <b>Salvador Dali<\/b> (Di Donna), <b>Daniel Arsham<\/b> (Galerie Perrotin), <b>Gerhard Richter<\/b> (Vedovi Gallery and<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Zwirner<\/span>), <b>Fernand L\u00e9ger <\/b>(Galerie Le Minotaure), <b>Jean Tinguely<\/b> (George Philippe &amp; Nathali Vallois),<strong> Jean-Michel Basquiat<\/strong> (Van de Weghe), <strong>Sonia Delaunay<\/strong> (Gia Marconi), <strong>Sylvie Fleury<\/strong> (Karma International), <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Paul Gauguin<\/strong> (Acquavella)<\/span>&#8230; This is set to be a colorful edition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Art Basel Paris<\/b>, which <b>begins this Friday, October 24<\/b>, returns to the <b>Grand Palais<\/b> for the <b>second time <\/b>for <b>three days<\/b>. Among his creative offerings, the <b>Mini Tentacle bag<\/b> with an octopus clinging to the leather is well worth a look.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Newcomers<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Of the <b>206 leading international galleries<\/b> participating in this edition, <b>thirteen are making their debut<\/b> at this cultural extravaganza.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is the case for the Parisian gallery <b>Cr\u00e8vec\u0153ur<\/b>, which brings together Miho Dohi, In\u00e8s di Folco Jemni, Ernst Yohji Jaeger, Yu Nishimura, Louise Sartor, Naoki Sutter-Shudo, as well as rare works by Morikazu Kumagai. Rooted in the Japanese concept of mono no aware\u2014the experience of impermanence\u2014the presentation breaks new ground by departing from European pictorial and sculptural conventions. Spanning painting, sculpture, photography, film, and installation, the works revisit central themes of the avant-garde\u2014namely, the body, identity, memory, and social criticism\u2014reimagining them in the present.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Another noteworthy gallery is the <b>David Nolan Gallery<\/b>, located in <b>New York.<\/b> This gallery showcases work on paper. Drawings by Hans Bellmer, Christina Ramberg, Martin Kippenberger, Dorothea Rockburne, and Nicole Eisenman reflect diverse avant-garde approaches to the body, space, and society across generations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Another New York gallery participating in Art Basel Paris for the first time, <b>Sikkema Malloy Jenkins <\/b>presents a broad overview of its artists, including Louis Fratino, Jeffrey Gibson, Sheila Hicks, Teresa Lanceta, Jennifer Packer, Kara Walker, and Luiz Zerbini. Around thirty artists are exhibiting paintings, photographs, videos, and sculptures.
