The prestigious house owned by the EPI group and the luxury spa hotel located in Champagne have joined forces through two initiatives: the sale of a delicate dessert and a Methuselah bottle of Rare Ros\u00e9 Mill\u00e9sime 2014, decorated by artist William Amor – The aim is to raise funds for the Champagne Breast Institute (LISA) as part of the global Pink October campaign.<\/h4>\n

Creating a luxury experience to benefit the fight against cancer…<\/p>\n

Pink October<\/b>, the annual global communication campaign aimed at raising awareness among women about breast cancer screening and raising funds for research, is currently in full swing with a host of virtuous initiatives.<\/p>\n

Two initiatives from Rare Champagne X Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

And the approach taken by Maison Rare Champagne<\/b> stands out from the crowd. It has launched two initiatives that are somewhat elitist, but always in the service of a good cause. These are the marketing of an exclusive dessert on the one hand and the sale of an exceptional Methuselah on the other, both of which are works of visual art and culinary craftsmanship…<\/p>\n

In both cases, the aim is to raise funds for Lise (L’Institut du Sein de Champagne),<\/b> \u201ca non-profit organization created by healthcare professionals involved in the fight against breast cancer,\u201d whose mission is to monitor \u201cthe entire care pathway of patients, from screening to post-treatment, by ensuring greater fluidity through the intervention of care coordinators.\u201d<\/p>\n

And in both cases, Rare Champagne has once again partnered with the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa, a flagship hotel located in the same region. In addition to 47 rooms and suites, this establishment based in Champillon (Marne), awarded 3 Michelin Keys<\/b> in 2024, offers two restaurants, including a gourmet restaurant, all supervised by Chef Christophe Raoux, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2015<\/b>, a bar, a spa, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and more.<\/p>\n

An exceptional pairing<\/h2>\n

It was therefore quite natural for Rare Champagne to join forces with him to showcase its 2014 Rare Ros\u00e9 Vintage<\/b> through an exceptional pairing created by the Royal Champagne’s pastry chef, Claire Santos Lopes<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The first joint venture between Rare Champagne and Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa<\/strong> is sure to please those with a sweet tooth, without any fear for their health. Claire Santos Lopes was invited to create a dessert to pair with the Rare Ros\u00e9<\/strong> (obviously for Pink October!) Mill\u00e9sime 2014 cuv\u00e9e<\/strong>. The dessert references the highly refined aesthetic codes of Rare Champagne, while following the recommendations of nutritionist Caroline Debbasch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In terms of presentation, this elongated dessert is reminiscent of the signature tiara of Rare Champagne<\/b>, designed and created by French goldsmith Arthus-Bertrand<\/b>, who paid tribute to the city of Reims, where almost all the kings of France were crowned.<\/p>\n

A dessert full of sweetness<\/h2>\n

In terms of content, this dessert succeeds in delighting the taste buds while taking into account patients with breast cancer. It is free of added salt and made with whole sugars<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIts soft and moist textures\u201d and “its natural flavors of figs, prickly pear, honey, orange, almond, and green anise\u201c are highlighted by the 2014 Rare Ros\u00e9 Mill\u00e9sime cuv\u00e9e, described as \u2018ExtraOrdinary\u2019 with \u201dits powerful aromas of red and black fruits with brioche notes,” according to the joint press release from Rare Champagne and Royal Champagne H\u00f4tel & Spa.<\/p>\n

In addition to providing a moment of delicate pleasure for a few lucky gourmets, this dessert will contribute to the fundraising campaign organized by the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa in aid of LISE, with \u20ac1 donated for each pastry sold.<\/b><\/p>\n

The second part of the Octobre Rose campaign, Rare Champagne X Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa, will be even more spectacular in terms of fundraising.<\/p>\n

The two partners are putting up for sale a unique Methuselah of Rare Ros\u00e9 Mill\u00e9sime 2014, decorated with a custom-made ornament designed by William Amor.<\/p>\n

\u201cCommitted to a more beautiful planet,\u201d this Parisian visual artist, who has been collaborating with Rare Champagne since 2022, \u201ctransforms discarded materials into gardens of delicate and poetic flowers.\u201d<\/p>\n

To mark Pink October, artist William Amor decorated a unique Methuselah bottle of Rare Ros\u00e9 Mill\u00e9sime 2014 champagne \u00a9 Marco Strullu\/Rare Champagne<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

For this Methuselah dedicated to Pink October, William Amor used both Rare Champagne’s waste and his own collection of scraps to create exceptional flowers. He used these to decorate the bottle, itself characteristic of the House with its asymmetrical shoulders. Known as \u201cla pinte majeure,\u201d it was inherited from the long tradition of mouth-blown glass by master glassmakers.<\/p>\n

The artist thus adorned this piece with \u201ca poetic aura, celebrating the metamorphosis of discarded materials ennobled by the artist, who gave them a second life,\u201d explains the press release.<\/p>\n

\u20ac35,000, 90% of which goes to a good cause<\/h2>\n

The price of this unique 6-liter bottle of Rare Ros\u00e9 Mill\u00e9sime 2014<\/b> is commensurate with its uniqueness, at \u20ac35,000<\/b>. If it finds a buyer, 90% of the proceeds will be donated<\/b> to LISE.<\/p>\n

Made from 70% Chardonnay from the C\u00f4te des Blancs and Montagne de Reims and 30% Pinot Noir from the heart of the Montagne de Reims<\/strong> (Verzy and A\u00ff in particular), Rare Champagne bottles themselves undergo a demanding process, with a minimum maturation period of 8.9 years<\/strong> before they are sold….<\/p>\n
