Already distributed by around 100 retailers worldwide, the company, which has already completed two rounds of funding, plans to accelerate its development with a new \u20ac1.5 million fundraising campaign via the Tudigo platform.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Le Rouge Fran\u00e7ais<\/b> continues its successful disruptive journey in the beauty market.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The pioneer in makeup using plant-based pigments has just opened its <b>very first store at 16 rue de Turenne<\/b>, close to the legendary Place des Vosges, <b>in the heart of Paris&#8217; Marais district<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Immersive showroom<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le Rouge Fran\u00e7ais was founded in 2019 by \u00c9lodie Carpentier, a biotechnology engineer who began her career in the pharmaceutical industry and was the 2020 winner of the BFM Business Acad\u00e9mie National Competition, and her husband, Salem Ghezaili, a business engineer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Its first point of sale was<b> designed \u201cas an immersive showroom, a sensory showcase\u201d<\/b>, where visitors can discover the history of the brand and its products, test them, and touch the materials and textures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_178635\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-178635\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-178635\" title=\"Le rouge fran\u00e7ais front\" src=\"https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Le_rouge_francais_front-1024x685.jpeg\" alt=\"Le rouge fran\u00e7ais front\" width=\"1024\" height=\"685\" srcset=\"https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Le_rouge_francais_front-1024x685.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Le_rouge_francais_front-300x201.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Le_rouge_francais_front-768x514.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Le_rouge_francais_front-480x321.jpeg 480w, https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Le_rouge_francais_front-750x502.jpeg 750w, https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Le_rouge_francais_front.jpeg 1319w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-178635\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a9 <\/span>Le Rouge Fran\u00e7ais<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Regular workshops and events will allow customers to better understand the products and their unique storytelling: setting itself apart from most brands in the sector, Le Rouge Fran\u00e7ais explains on its website that it has devoted three years of research to \u201cthe creation of a unique and patented process for extracting and infusing the coloring and biological properties of plants for cosmetic applications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Organic and Vegan<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In its certified organic lipsticks and other cosmetics, Le Rouge Fran\u00e7ais uses the \u201coriginal pigments and organic properties\u201d of <b>madder, roucou, sorghum, indigo, Damask rose, and hibiscus<\/b>, \u201charvested in their native countries in order to preserve their natural environment and maintain the ancestral know-how of their cultivation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Denouncing the omnipresence (i.e., \u201c99%\u201d) of petrochemical colors in the global makeup industry, it boasts a range of <b>nail polishes<\/b> whose \u201cbio-based formula\u201d is \u201camong the cleanest in the world,\u201d with \u201c<b>nearly 81% natural plant-based ingredients<\/b>\u201d but also the inclusion of anthocyanins (natural pigments with powerful coloring properties) from red algae.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>PETA-certified<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to packaging that complies with <b>Ecocert certification<\/b>, with 100% strictly recyclable materials, the brand has also made a <b>stringent vegan commitment, certified by the international association PETA<\/b>, guaranteeing that \u201cnone of its products contain ingredients derived from animals or are tested on them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le Rouge Fran\u00e7ais prefers \u201cother innovative alternatives such as rice wax instead of beeswax, or apple skin instead of animal leather.\u201d The brand even goes so far as to ban the use of animal-derived dyes such as cochineal, a tiny insect measuring approximately 0.5 mm to 1 cm!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With this first store of its own, Le Rouge Fran\u00e7ais, which until now had been content with pop-ups under its own name, is entering a new phase.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In terms of distribution, the brand already has a significant presence. In addition to its<b> e-commerce site<\/b>, it is available in<b> around 100 international outlets (<\/b>including<b> Neiman Marcus<\/b> and <b>Credo Beauty<\/b> in the United States). And in France, Le Rouge Fran\u00e7ais will soon be available in the Nocib\u00e9 chain of stores, starting with around 50 outlets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Fundraising<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to a series of funding rounds, at the end of which the founders still remain majority shareholders, Le Rouge Fran\u00e7ais has the means to achieve its ambitions. Accessible from \u20ac500, the campaign has already raised more than \u20ac175,000.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is proof, if ever it were needed, that this beauty concept focused on sustainable development is generating interest. It is enough to fuel the ambitions of <b>the company<\/b>, which currently employs around ten people and aims to establish itself as the <b>world leader in plant-based color in beauty<\/b>!
