FAB Paris, the international art and antiques fair, is back at the Grand Palais from September 20 to 24, 2025. Art Deco, late Baroque, sixties, contemporary, primitive arts…<\/p>\n

Born from the merger between Fine Arts Paris and the Biennale<\/b> (formerly the Biennale des Antiquaires) and renamed in 2023<\/b>, FAB Paris<\/b> has established itself as a major cultural event, appealing to both the general public and connoisseurs<\/b>, bringing together the world’s leading galleries and iconic fine jewelry houses.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After an exceptional 2024 edition, which welcomed works from the prolific collection of the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild (Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat, French Riviera) to Paris for the first time, FAB Paris is bringing forward its dates and will now take place in September (rather than November as last year).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the program: around 100 art galleries from around the world<\/b> and the Nissim de Camondo Museum<\/b> will present their collections at the Grand Palais<\/b> for five days<\/b> starting on September 20.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

LUXUS PLUS<\/b> is once again a partner<\/b>, knowing that \u201cthis event generates a lot of interest thanks to its high standards, its richness, and its ability to celebrate beauty in all its forms and throughout all eras<\/b>,\u201d said publishing director Claire Domergue.<\/b><\/p>\n

Beauty and Art Deco<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

The 2025 edition<\/b> promises to be another rich experience full of encounters and discoveries, with hundreds of international galleries<\/b> exhibiting, representing a total of around twenty specialties.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Newcomers from France, Belgium, Spain, Great Britain, Canada, the Netherlands, Italy, and the United States<\/b> (Galerie Vallois, Patrick Derom, Marc Maison, Gokelaere & Robinson, and Guillermo de Osma) rub shoulders with regulars at the event<\/b> (the Aaron, Applicat-Prazan, Jean-Christophe Charbonnier, Michel Descours, Xavier Eeckhout, Yann Ferrandin, De Jonckheere, Kevorkian, L\u00e9age, David L\u00e9vy, Alexis Pentcheff, La Pr\u00e9sidence, Jean-Baptiste de Proyart, Rumbler, Sismann, Tarantino, Traits Noirs, RX, Von Vertes, Dina Vierny, Florence de Vold\u00e8re, etc.).<\/p>\n

The decor and scenography<\/b>, designed by Constance Guisset and Sylvie Zerat respectively, promise to be just as spectacular as the works on display<\/b>. Provenance, quality, and presence<\/b> are definitely still the criteria at work in antique art.<\/p>\n

Marking the centenary of the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts<\/b>, the Galerie Valois, a newcomer to FAB Paris<\/b>, is rolling out the red carpet in Art Deco style<\/b>, to which an exhibition at the Mus\u00e9e des Arts D\u00e9coratifs (MAM) is dedicated from October 22, 2025, to April 26, 2026.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Furniture pieces<\/b> reflect the taste of the 1920s and 1930s for geometric shapes and materials and details inspired by industry and aerodynamics<\/b>. Twenty masterpieces<\/b> by Pierre Chareau, Eileen Gray, Jacques-\u00c9mile Ruhlmann<\/b>, and Rateau<\/b> will be on display in a setting designed by Ren\u00e9 Bouchara.<\/p>\n

FAB Paris also promises to exhibit the favorites of designers and decorators<\/b>, including Jean-Charles de Castelbaljac, Timothy Corrigan, Nathalie Crini\u00e8re, Jacques Garcia, Fran\u00e7ois-Joseph Graf, Constance Guisset, Pier-Luigi Pizzi, Jean-Michel Wilmotte, and Charles Zana.<\/b><\/p>\n

Ode to female artists<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year, FAB Paris will pay tribute to female artists and trendsetters<\/b>, from Marie Antoinette and her favorite painter \u00c9lisabeth Louise Vig\u00e9e-Lebrun<\/b> to the genius portraitists, 18th-century pastel artist Rosalba Carriera and the recently rediscovered painter Juana Romani<\/b> (1867-1923). The creative minds of the 20th century will also be featured, notably Elsa Schiaparelli<\/b> (immortalized in a miniature bust by her friend Alberto Giacometti), Niki de Saint Phalle<\/b>, Germaine Richier<\/b>, Eileen Gray<\/b>, and Charlotte Perriand<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Nissim de Camondo museum, guest of honor<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

The 2025 edition also shines with the presence of a little-known museum specializing in 18th-century decorative arts<\/b>: the Nissim de Camondo museum<\/b>. As guest of honor, the Parisian institution, housed in a mansion built between 1910 and 1914 a stone’s throw from Parc Monceau, is offering an exclusive exhibition of some sixty key works from its collections, all curated by Alexandre Benjamin Navet.<\/p>\n

The museum<\/b> was opened in 1936 by banker and art collector <\/b>(specializing in furniture and porcelain) Mo\u00efse de Camondo, in tribute to <\/b>his son, Nissim de Camondo<\/b>, a banker and aviator who was shot down in 1917.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Young talent space<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

With its roots in both antique works and contemporary icons, FAB Paris has not forgotten to highlight, in a dedicated space, the young dealers<\/b> selected by Carole Blumenfeld, Mathieu Deldicque, and C\u00e9cilia Hottinguer<\/b>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The scenography for this space<\/b> has been entrusted this year to the young architect and designer Edgar Jayet<\/b>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Disorderly Beauties<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Finally, the other highlight of FAB Paris 2025<\/b> will undoubtedly be the exhibition Disorderly Beauties<\/i><\/b> conceived by Jean-Hubert Martin, former director of the Centre Pompidou<\/b>. It will bring together some 140 pieces from the 1900-2000, Brimo de Laroussilhe, Vallois, Didier Claes, and St\u00e9phane Clavreuil galleries.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that the world of beauty and craftsmanship will also be present at the Grand Palais for Les Deux Mains du Luxe, organized from October 3 to 5 by the Comit\u00e9 Colbert. This event, which combines artistic craftsmanship and training, will be open to the general public from October 4.<\/p>\n
