The 91-year-old Milanese designer has passed away, leaving behind an immense empire. It will be impossible to replace this fashion visionary, whose refined and glamorous style gracefully transcended the decades. However, Giorgio Armani recently announced in an interview with the Financial Times supplement his intention to smoothly and collectively hand over his group to his loyal employees.<\/h4>\n

After Pierre Cardin, Andr\u00e9 Courr\u00e8ges, Kenzo, and Sonia Rykiel<\/b>, who passed away more or less recently…Giorgio Armani was one of the last great fashion designers<\/b>, and undoubtedly the only one of his stature to still be in complete control of the gigantic empire he had built.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For years, the subject of his succession had been a recurring theme in the press. And just recently, he explained to the supplement of the economic magazine Financial Times how he intended to pass on the giant group he co-founded in 1975 with his late partner, Sergio Galeotti. An empire of which he was still the sole shareholder, CEO, and creative director.<\/p>\n

But this time, there is no more speculation. Giorgio Armani’s empire will truly enter a new dimension after the passing, on September 4, of the 91-year-old Milanese designer.<\/b><\/p>\n
