After showcasing taekwondo and fencing athletes at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and returning to exhibitions, trade shows, and Chanel fashion shows, the Grand Palais (a national museum complex), an architectural masterpiece from the 1900 World’s Fair that has recently been renovated, is joining the Comit\u00e9 Colbert, the representative body for luxury in France. This cultural institution is joined by Diptyque, the perfume house founded in 1961 and known for its scented candles.<\/h4>\n

Since its foundation in 1954 on the initiative of perfumer Jean-Jacques Guerlain, the Comit\u00e9 Colbert<\/b>, a non-profit organization<\/b>, has been working to defend, promote, and enhance the expertise of French luxury goods and cultural institutions.<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is within the framework of this mission that the perfume house Diptyque<\/b> and the Parisian monument<\/b> that is the Grand Palais<\/b> are making their official entry on July 1<\/b> into the Comit\u00e9 Colbert.<\/b><\/p>\n

These two newcomers bring the number of members of this structure, headed by B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte Epinay, to 97 French luxury houses and 18 cultural institutions, as well as six European members.<\/b><\/p>\n

Thirty Glorious Years and the Belle Epoque<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sixty-six years separate these two newcomers, both originally from Paris and both collective works.<\/strong><\/p>\n
