The world leader in beauty has appointed Delphine Viguier-Hovasse as Chief Innovation and Prospective Officer. She was previously the first woman to hold the position of Global Head of L’Or\u00e9al Paris, a role in which she excelled.<\/b> Another representative of the so-called \u201cweaker sex,\u201d Laetitia Toupet-Delon, currently Executive Vice President of Global Brands for the dermatological beauty division, will take over from her.<\/b><\/p>\n

In the fast-moving beauty market, it is important not to rest on one’s laurels as a global leader.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

L’Or\u00e9al<\/b> has understood this well by entrusting the newly created position of Group CEO of Innovation and Foresight to Delphine Viguier-Hovasse<\/b>. The group explains that it is \u201cbuilding on its long tradition of innovation\u201d to \u201cstrengthen its leadership in a dynamic and rapidly changing beauty landscape.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her new role, which she will take up on July 1, Delphine Viguier-Hovasse will \u201coversee both the existing innovation teams and the strategic foresight department to ensure a comprehensive and forward-looking approach to beauty innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n

A member of the executive committee of the French beauty giant<\/b>, based in Paris, she will report to Barbara Lavernos, the group’s executive vice president<\/b> in charge of research, innovation, and technology.<\/p>\n
