The young Lebanese singer, fashion icon and artist with a meteoric rise to fame, has been chosen as the first make-up ambassador by YSL Beauty in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. She appears this month, the month of Ramadan for Muslims, in a campaign showcasing her beauty and that of Arab women in general.<\/h4>\n

The timing is perfect: in the middle of Ramadan<\/b>, which began on the evening of February 28th and ends at the end of March, YSL Beauty has just made official the appointment of Lebanese singer Dana Hourani<\/b> as the first ever make-up ambassador for the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Countries)<\/b>. This is the region that includes Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.<\/b><\/p>\n

Known both for her music \u201cwith indie pop vibes\u201d, bridging Middle Eastern tradition and Western modernity,<\/b> Dana Hourani is also known for her own unique style,<\/b> effortless and yet elegant.<\/p>\n
