The Milanese owner of Prada and Miu Miu has reportedly expressed interest in the Versace fashion house, which Capri is looking to divest. The American group, whose takeover by fellow American Tapestry fell through at the end of 2014, has just published alarming results for its third quarter of 2024-2025, which ended in December.<\/h4>\n

According to several reliable sources, the American Capri, owner of Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors and Versace<\/b>, is looking to offload<\/b> some of its assets. And according to the Bloomberg<\/b> agency, the Milanese group Prada is said to be<\/b> closely interested in Versace<\/b>…<\/p>\n

Flashback: at the end of 2024, the Tapestry group (Coach, Kate Spade, Stuart Weitzman) gave up on buying its compatriot Capri<\/b>, after this merger project was rejected by the American competition authorities and a federal judge.<\/p>\n

Alarming results for Capri<\/h2>\n

In early February, Capri<\/b> unveiled rather alarming results for the third quarter of its 2024-25<\/b> financial year, which ended in December, with a 12% drop in turnover to 812 million dollars and an operating loss of 590 million dollars!<\/p>\n
