After announcing its foray into the highly exclusive world of Haute Joaillerie last December, Jil Sander is now tackling Haute Parfumerie. The German luxury fashion house, owned by the Italian OTB Group, is seeking to establish a foothold in the highly lucrative collector’s perfume market.<\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

After its first Haute Joaillerie line<\/strong>, Jil Sander<\/strong> unveiled six unisex fragrances<\/strong> a month later, created in partnership with<\/strong> leading beauty brand Coty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This new development demonstrates theextension of the German fashion brand’s domain through an<\/strong> enhancedlifestyle offering<\/strong>. It’s a good way for the luxury House, a showcase for the Italian OTB Group, to target new customers and generate opportunities in strong beauty markets<\/strong>. These include the Gulf States<\/strong>, where an opening is planned in Dubai at the end of February.<\/p>\n

In launching its first fragrances, Jil Sander is following in the footsteps of other luxury brands<\/strong> such as fashion houses Balmain, Valentino and Brunello Cucinelli <\/strong>, and Swiss watchmaker Jaeger LeCoultre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Two years after renewing its licensing agreement<\/strong> with international beauty giant Coty to enter the luxury fragrance category, Jil Sander unveils its first collection<\/strong>, Olfactory series 1.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This fragrance collection<\/strong>, the first under the creative direction of Lucie and Luke Meier<\/strong>, was designed to “reflect Jil Sander’s excellence in craftsmanship and the modernity of luxury, the fragrance collection and unique bottle design fully represent the brand’s DNA<\/em> \u201d, says the press release.<\/p>\n
