In the midst of consolidating its American market<\/strong>, Chanel has hired Olivier Kessler-Gay, head of Pandora in Western Europe (France, Spain and Portugal),<\/strong> to manage the American branch of its Watches and Fine Jewelry division<\/strong>. The Maison de la rue Cambon intends to capitalize on the dynamism of the luxury goods sector in the United States in 2024, according to the latest Bain-Altagamma report.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Reporting directly to St\u00e9phane Blanchard, President of Chanel Inc, the new CEO will take up his post on March 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The announcement comes at<\/strong> a time when the French fashion house,<\/strong> headed by American Leena Nair and headquartered in London, has just streamlined its workforce in the US market.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oliver Kessler-Gay’s mission will be to bring a long-term vision to capitalize on the opportunities offered by the American market<\/strong>, while strengthening Chanel’s positioning in the Haute Joaillerie segment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n With over 25 years’ experience<\/strong> in the fast-moving world of luxury goods and retail<\/strong>, the new Director of Watches and Fine Jewelry for North America is expected to bring his strategic and operational expertise<\/strong> to the Chanel teams .<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Since June 2020, Oliver Kessler-Gay has been Director of Pandora in Western Europe (France, Spain, Portugal)<\/strong>.
