Alexandre Assouline, son of Prosper and Martine, the eponymous founding couple of the family-owned publisher of fine books, has been appointed President. He is expected to continue the luxury-lifestyle evolution of the company, of which LVMH is a significant shareholder.<\/h4>\n

Thirtysomething Alexandre Assouline, son of Prosper and Martine,<\/strong> the eponymous founding couple of the famous Maison in 1994, has been appointed President.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Based in New York, he will continue to work closely with both his parents<\/strong>, two former communications and design specialists who worked for luxury houses before moving into publishing.<\/p>\n

The rise of luxury and lifestyle<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Alexandre Assouline, who has already had a successful career with the family business<\/strong>, is set to continue the lifestyle and luxury expansion of<\/strong> the publishing house, which specializes in large-format books on art, fashion, architecture and travel.<\/strong> In the latter segment, Assouline made a name for itself during the pandemic with its Travel From Home collection, renamed Travel Series, whose success has been undeniable ever since.<\/p>\n
