The Belgian haute couture house owned by the Puig Group has announced the appointment of 33-year-old Belgian Julian Klausner. He had already been working on Dries Van Noten’s women’s collections since 2018.<\/h4>\n

A smooth handover.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dries Van Noten is betting on continuity<\/strong> to replace its eponymous founder as creative director<\/strong>, who stepped down last June.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Julian Klausner<\/strong>, his newly-appointed successor, is well equipped to understand and respect the DNA of the haute couture house owned by the Spanish Puig Group.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Like Dries Van Noten, the 33-year-old designer was born in the flat country<\/strong>. After graduating in 2016 from Brussels’ La Cambre school<\/strong>, he began his career as a junior designer working alongside a big name in fashion, in this case John Galliano at Maison Margiela.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since 2018 at Dries Van Noten<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

But by summer 2018, he had joined the creative studio of Dries Van Noten<\/strong>, where he participated in the design and development of the women’s collections.<\/strong><\/p>\n
