Mo\u00ebt & Chandon inaugurated its first \u00c9cole des M\u00e9tiers du Champagne (EMC) at the end of October. The LVMH champagne house, which celebrated its 280th anniversary last year, has set up a training program dedicated to champagne operators. A tool for passing on knowledge and raising awareness among the younger generation.<\/h4>\n

On October 21, Mo\u00ebt & Chandon<\/strong><\/b>, the world’s largest producer of champagne wines<\/strong><\/b>, owned by Mo\u00ebt Hennessy, the wine and spirits subsidiary of the LVMH group<\/strong><\/b> since 1987, officially inaugurated its own school for the transmission of know-how<\/strong><\/b> in the presence of its president and CEO Sybille Scherer<\/strong><\/b>, head of the House since 2019 and president of the Mo\u00ebt Ruinart establishment (Mo\u00ebt & Chandon, Dom P\u00e9rignon, Ruinart and Mercier)….<\/p>\n

Based in Epernay, at the epicenter of the Champagne vineyards, the establishment now offers an innovative, immersive training program for production operators in the Champagne wine industry<\/strong><\/b>. A new course<\/strong><\/b> focusing onoenology<\/strong><\/b> is scheduled for 2025<\/strong><\/b>.<\/p>\n

Accelerating the training of production operators<\/h2>\n

Mo\u00ebt & Chandon’s decision to invest in the renovation of a 300 m\u00b2 building<\/strong><\/b> at the heart of theAvenue de Champagne<\/strong><\/b> in Epernay was prompted by the need to offer a rapid integration program for new production operators<\/strong><\/b>. This initiative complements existing on-the-job training<\/strong><\/b>.<\/p>\n
